So my truck got hit in a parking lot did damage to right rear just above exgaust dented there and broke fender flare. 06 sr5 access cab. Hit and run came out it was damgaed with no one near me. I'm planning on trading it in early next year. So my question is do I get it fixed or just leave it. I have a 500$ deductable so if I get it fixed will I get 500$ more for trade. Will they take more than that off trade if I leave it?

Tough call. It depends on the condition of the rest of the truck. If the rest of the truck has all kinds of damage and scrapes then it is not worth fixing it, but I assume that if you are concerned about the damage that this is not the case, so I would say that it is worth fixing. Check with your insurance, sometimes if it is hit and run like this, or parking lot damage, they waive the deductible, or at least not increase your premiums. Or check with a body shop - maybe you can get it fixed for less than the deductible.

Here's a pic. I was able to get some of the dent out. I think if I take the fender flare off I can get the rest. Then put a new flare on
