So i was painting my grill on the taco... and i bought the paint from a local o'reillys that has dupli color in toyota super white... but the white doesnt match my truck its a little bit more yellow than white... i even used 2 whole cans of paint just to make sure i was covering everything... then i thought adding the clear coat would help but its still not matching. has this happened to anyone before? should i try the other white thats called "bright white" from dupli color ? says its also for yotas.

In person you can tell big time. but in the picture i took only certain spots looks different. any sugestions ?

When i searched for this weeks ago, the consensus on TW threads was that most duplicolor spray cans are a good match, but NOT superwhite. It is too yellow. I tried it on my decal and it is definitely off. Of course, the decal is far enough away from the body to make the difference in color hardly noticeable.

Do a search. Some people have had good luck with some particular ebay vendor, for about 20 bucks a can.

Or spend the 200 bucks and buy a colormatched grille. Not sure if the 2012 s are out or where to get them.

I did the same as u with the dupicolor and it didn't match either. If u are spraying over the chrome sand really good and use adhision primer or it will flake off and u will do over like I'm getting ready to. I think napa can mix up some actual color and put it in a spray can.
