Help; Replacing Pioneer with Kenwood

My 1998 Tacoma has a 7-year old Pioneer aftermarket radio. Last week I bought a brand new Kenwood radio (So I could have an aux plug & USB).
What I'm wondring is: Since the truck was already re-wired when the first aftermarket radio was put in, do I have to re-wire it again? Does anyone know if Pioneer wires/plug are compatibe with a Kenwood? Thanks!

 

It's a safe bet the Pioneer and Kenwood harnesses have different plugs on the HU side. They should, however, have very similar (if not identical) wires on the truck side. With any luck, the previous installer used something like this, rather than cutting-off the truck's original harness. Unfortunately, the only way for you to determine what's there and how the Pioneer was installed is to take things apart and look.
