Strength of composite bed material?

I used the **search** and found a few threads, I've seen some cracked beds on the rail area but not holes or pull/push-throughs. I just bought a d-ring kit from the stealer to install on the front bed mount bolts, but decided to try something else. I mounted them on the tops of the wheel wells in the front corners of the bed and curious just how strong the composite material is. The kit has nothing mentioned of load capacity/ break-out strength or WLL. The D-ring has a steel 2x3" backing plate with a welded nut.

I think it would be fine for light duty stuff. The 2012's have a tie down point in a similar place. Instead of on the wheel well it is on the side above the well.

 

OK, and to a different subject, I searched "Composite bed strength" and came up with one or 2 cracked bed threads, but nothing else. Why am i now seeing the same damn thing at the bottom? Everyone flames other users about using the GD search, but it didn't come up with shit for me, hence this thread. Sorry for the repeat thread topic now that I see this has been asked before.

 

2 things. 1: your bed is hella shiney, is it greasy or leave black shit on u of u are kneeling or sitting in the bed? 2: that is a nice ass! Love them girls
