    Hello & welcome to TW!

I don't have a prerunner. But I would like to see new scenery too. I took a road trip going around Mt. Lemon going from Oracle up to Summerhaven then back down to Tucson on Catalina Highway.

Awesome, some great scenery up there. Catalinia has some good 4x4 trails up to pepper sauce and the backside of MT. Lemmon.

The U of A's experimental range down south is great, there are some timid trails as well as some 4wd needed. Be careful though, it's probably state land.

I used to be a Tucson Prerunner... I would go out to Three Points and play around in the desert -- lots of trails back there... mostly owned by the City of Tucson and mostly not monitored... Here are some pics from three points:

I have don't have neither a prerunner or a 4X4 (I wish I had a 4x4). I have a 2.7L that gets me from place to place. Not as much fun as others. But I am happy with what I got.

No worries, a 2wd is still fun!!!!
I'd like to pick up a little 4 cyl 4wd tho.

After seeing the pics of 3-points I'm thinking out there. Looks 2wd friendly and like it has a whole bunch of donut room!

We could probably head up the back of Mt. Lemmon, should be do able for a good portion of the drive

I like going up to redington pass in the Coronado national forest. There is a run called chiva falls that takes you to a really nice waterfall. I have a 4x4 but a buddy i know made it in his prerunner with a 3" lift. we only had to pull him once. here is a link to a map of redington.

i will be down to wheel next weekend if anyone wants to. My buddy i usually go with will want to come although he has a jeep :-( it is ok he is a good guy anyway.

3 Feathers isn't that bad. there is still the easy way up if you take the center/left route. I don't have any issue in 4hi but we had to pull up a prerunner. Granted he isnt the best driver so it doesn't say much that he needed a pull.

The straight up route and the far right way up have gotten alot harder since i was there last. They have gotten dug out to wear i definitely couldn't make it up with out some serious mods to the truck.
