    Hey guys,

I saw the Baja Tacoma at the dealer today...only difference that stood out was the decals (not at first since black), the shocks and the rear TRD emblem. Noticed no real pictures of the Baja edition from the rear on here yet, so I'm sure many of you didn't know unless you've seen one yet...like me

Thought I'd share since I've noticed many of you like to add TRD accents/emblems, and now there is an actual Tacoma one  looks bit orange in picture, but it's Red.

Whelp, that explains the price tag. I knew there was something more beyond the shocks haha

I like it btw, might get one and find a place for it someday

A little of this and a little of that.
Nice. I'd still remove it though.

That made made day about the swirls

I got a funny story about when I bought my STI in 07. It sat on the lot for 15 months before I bought it. Well, as you know, the stealership uses a company that goes around and power washing the unsold cars. I fell in love w it, but it was swirled up from the months of improper paint protection. I argued that they need to do a full paint detail to make me sign on the dotted line. I won.

They should have painted all the badges. It looks like an afterthought with all chrome badges and a single red TRD badge all by itself.

Yeah I saw one of those too yesterday while I was waiting for my truck. A good upgrade from stock with the bfg AT's and stuff, but you could do a lot more to a normal taco for $6000

Been looking for a red TRD badge since I bought my truck. Great find though. I called a couple of local dealerships and they don't have all the part numbers for the 2012 Baja yet (at least thats what they tell me). I also called TRDUSA and they were no help either. Despite lurking all the forums and ebay, I can't believe how hard it is to find ONE red TRD badge!!

Let us know when you track one down. Would like one for my 99 Tacoma tailgate to match the black and red "TRD Special Edition" pillar emblems I sourced from the 2007 FJ Special Edition Models. Would complete my look!

so those extended length bilsteins just don't heat up as fast as normal 5100's? is that the idea behind the resi's with no extended length travel?

The idea behind any remote reservoir shock is that it's got a larger volume of oil so it'll take longer to heat up and the remove reservoir will allow the oil to dissipate heat better so you don't lose performance when the shock is working hard.

What's the part number for those? I have the 5150's in the rear with attached remote resi's but not that far removed. Mine DO have extended travel.

10+ hp. that's actually there for top secret use. if you swivel it up there's a little switch behind it. turn it on and you got yourself 420 horse at the rear wheels.

Musta been something the dealership added on their own, mine didn't come with one, and i've not seen any other pics of others with it. Must be extra "flair" thata dealer decided to add on...
