    The method can apply to MANY other vehicles, the trick is, me getting access to those vehicles for proper testing and what not; I have NO problems with developing for another vehicle; But I am hesitant to ship out something without knowing 100% that it will work...call me anal, but I really stand by my work, and that just asks for issues;

I can work something out privately if some is willing to work with me in getting it running in another vehicle, that person would have distribution rights (aka, sell the kit to other vehicle specific forums and make a profit)

Might be a dumb question, but I haven't seen any info on 1st gens. Will this work on 1st gen Tacoma's? I like this quite a bit and have a 2004. Will it work?

Will do mate! I actually believe Gadget lives up there...I could be VERY wrong....lol

Should, Might require a little bit of rewiring, I have a friend with a first gen, I might get him to let me take a peak.

There is no estimated arrival date of phase 3. :( Still working out the RF and all.

Reason I say this, is that he is a very talented technician; And he MIGHT be able to point you to someone that can help you out sooner; MD is a far ways for me :p

Hmm, may get ahold of him and ask. Not in a hurry, but if I did electrical work I would order one in a heartbeat.

In all honesty man, this is VERY simple, and although you are dealing with wires; I have designed the kit to be very simple to install. For instance, when you identify the wire; there are quick connects that come with the kit, and you just squeeze one over the truck wire; and plug the harness in! Very simple!

Still waiting for options and pricing as I've got through a couple of the XRU threads without finding anything.

I am not sure what you mean. The pricing is available on the first page of both posts, here and on XRU. Along with pictures of the buttons that are available and tested.

    But to reiterate...

125$ for the base kit; That includes everything you need to be able to push your button and make your truck start. Again, this was stated on the first page.

200$ for the kit and a preconfigured PKALL bypass module. (This allows you to go fully keyless, without having to hide a chip in the steering column.) This was not stated on the first stage as I did not want to release it, but the demand is high.

You can switch out the buttons with another, the price will change depending on the current market value for the one of your choice.

lol prices exactly for what?? i think everything is pretty straight forward on options right now...this kit isnt completed yet...so if youre looking for a COMPLETE price on the entire kit once its all said and done...youre going to have to wait.

Hmm.. I thought there were different options for switches and the button itself. I see a ton of different hardware in the first post. Which button and switch is "standard" with the $200 kit?

Heck, sorry for the confusion

Alright, Now I understand Why you are confused; The standard 200$ kit comes with the stainless steel flat buttons, standard black switch, configured immobilizer bypass module, relay for module, wiring harness, and all the connectors and various wires.

this is so awesome I am very interested in possibly getting the ted button kit. But how near in the future are you to being able to make it so when you get close the doors open and such? also this might be a dumb question but would it be possible to completely remove the key hole and place the trd push button there? it would look awesome but probably not possible. thanks you

Lol, not a dumb question at all! Honestly, It can be done, and from memory, it should be pretty easy! It comes down to if the button will fit in the ignition housing; Then all you do is take out the ignition cylinder, feed the wired through the notch, place button in, and voila :) BUT the button might be bigger than the housing, then it would be a different story.

The next version of the kit is far far off, I am talking 6+ months, maybe a year out. There is ALOT to take into consideration, and it might not even happen because I am doing all the work / coding / electrical engineering myself. That and keeping the costs low is a pretty big task.

Honestly that is one of the coolest things! It would work well!!! The only issue is that that particular device needs 20-30 volts DC to work, and the truck runs off of 12, and to step it up would just be unneccessary, so if you can find one of those that works off of 12v; we would be in business!
