Gulches, SC meet 2

Well damn, the weekend of the 16th is my last chance to go cause i start school backn on the 18th and the week after i get out im taking a week trip to Alabama to wheel but im also going to URE mid August if you wanna come to that trip... & ill plan another trip to gulches im sure sometime after that!

 

I was able to install my snorkel yesterday, so I'm totally in for next weekend now.

 

Awesome! Gonna talk to jony about what time we will meet up and convoy there then get back to everyone here on times we will arrive

 

The park opens at 10 but I'd like to get up there about 9:30 so we can register, sign waivers, air down, shoot the shit and what not.

Which means we should leave columbia/irmo about 8am (earlier if we want to stop for breakfast).

I'll be bringing my old cv's up there as well for you!

As of today it looks like its going to be a great weather day. Partly cloudy 82 degrees 10% percip.

Really looking forward to this trip and hopefully we'll get a decent turnout. Discounts start with group sizes of 10+ so lets get the maybe's into definites.

I can say that today was totally awesome. I had a great time at Gulches and glad the FJ was able to follow the Tacomas and not die.

 

Had a real good tome out there today, FJ did great on 3 wheels all day! Props for you too man for bringing it out and gave it hell!

 

x2 Impressed what that pretty FJ was able to do with minimal body damage

And Blake takes 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for being the craziest SOB out there. Still not sure how he didn't flip twice!

Brigitte and I got back to Winston-Salem safely.
I really wanted to thank everyone for a great time today, taking the time to show us around, guiding us when necessary, and all the great help. You are a great bunch of folks.

My wife and I hope you all got home safely with not many new dents.

A great day was had by all.
