I was wondering if the sylvania silverstar 3357A/3457A bulbs would fit into the parking/turning bulbs. I know it says to use the 4157NA bulbs but love the look of the discontinued sylvania silverstar bulbs. I had them on my car and loved them and want the same for my Taco. They look like they would fit but was wondering if they would mess up any electronically. Here's a link of what they are.

Could save some $$$ and just put in a set of clear bulbs. Amber is not required, DOT specs call for the TS bulbs to be amber or white.

Yea I was thinking about some LED's white. These they look blue but when on they are amber. I remember when those where at autozone for 13 bucks but finally found some and they are wanting 30 bucks. So I know they are ripping me off if I get them.

I'm talking about even cheaper, but what makes sense for you to do depends on what you're trying to get to. I meant just a cheap clear incandescent bulb,,, $5 +/-. Invisible when it's off, white light when it's on.

but at certain angle, you cannot see that plain white light. i remember the "blue bulb" stage...could never see they signals!

OP - i had those 3157s in my truck for years, never had a problem. if you look up the specs between the two, they are nearly the same.

Yea I decided to go with them and they look awesome! I'll post pics soon. Wish Sylvania still made those, never understood why they discontinued it. Thinking of buying them again and put them in the rear turn signals but I'm hesitant cause I don't want to over do it and make it look dorky since Tacoma's look awesome stock anyways.
