Option I: go to a gas station and pump up your tires
Option II: remove the TMPS, but I'd still recommend you check your tire pressure.

If all 5 tires are holding their pressures, take it to the dealer and have them correct the TPM problem... the truck is too new to overide the TPMS now.

Don't forget to use the reset button under your dash once you set all the tire pressures. Including the spare.

Being that you have an 2012 you don't have a sensor in the spare...toyota stopped that around 2009. Just read your owners manual and hit the re-set.

Dumb question... I have an 06 DC with wheels that were on an 09 AC. The wheels do have the TPMS stems in them. The light is flashing. Took it to the dealer to see if they could turn it off. They said their scanner won't read any of the sensors to reset/reprogram them. Ideas?

    Actually....

    Drop the inflation to 25psi.

THEN reset the system.... and pump the tires back up to 35.

The light will stay off down to 25 unless one tire drops more than the others.

    Not easily.

I mean, it's not THAT easy.

I don't know that anyone has done it on a 2012 yet or not.
On the '05 to '06 or '07 it was a matter of cutting a blue wire and grounding it.
In '07 or '08, that switched to the need to apply +5vdc to it.

Don't know if it changed again for the '12 or not.

You could take the sensors out and put them in a air chamber. Some make them out of pvc or a wheel barrel tire...then fill up to around 30 ps to get the light not to flash and mount the pipe/tire somewhere in or under the truck. Another option is clamping the sensors to the inside of the wheels with large clamps sold for that purpose. I guess the battery life of the sensors is around 7 years so look forward to spending money on them sooner or later.

Yes, put your tires at the right pressure. Remember your spare tire is also in the system, so if it is low the light will come on.

Don't you wonder why it came on?

Mine did the other day, and I checked all my tires (even though they looked fine). There was a screw in one, and the air was down 10 psi. The truck had been in the garage over the weekend, so a slow leak.

The owner's manual will tell you how to easily re-set the light if you are running a new tire pressure in them all.
