IMHO, dual exhaust has no place on a Taco. Tundra, yes. Taco, no.

Doesn't that end up flowing worse than single because of the resonances from three cylinders? I was always under the impression that a true dual needed an X-pipe or an H-pipe to create destructive interference that smooths the exhaust flow.

ehhh I talked to a service tech about it because I was gonna do a crossover but they told me it wouldn't make a differnce. Not sure if it was fact but it seems to be running just fine. I actually picked up like 1 to 2 mpgs out of it somehow

i don’t really like dual. i have thought about it, but not going to do it. but if i WAS. i would do what bluetaco did. true dual with glass packs.

What I would do, and plan to do in the future is cut the stock exhaust before the axle so I'll still have the stock muffler but everything is out of the way of the axle. Then, install an electric exhaust cutout right before the stock muffler that way when I want a lot of sound to play around with, I have it. I think it just looks cleaner when you can't see any exhaust on a trail/offroad truck.
