Alright! Looks like you're ready to roll. You gonna install yourself? Just take your time...it's a common sense install. Good luck!

    Thanks man!

I am torn on the install. My father in law has the know how and tools to get it done but here is the deal. I have a local shop here who will install the lift, mount/balance the tires and do the alignment for $350. That would also include a 25,000 mile warranty.

If I did it myself, the mount/balance and alignment itself would cost me at least $150 right? Is it worth it to just let the shop do it?

damn 350 is not that bad with a warranty and all do they offer unlimited alignments?

Yeah for $350 with alignment I'd go ahead and let them do it...that's cheap. I was quoted $1K for spindle/5100 install front and leaf/5125 install rear. I ended up doing it myself and learned a lot about my truck. The toughest part was installing the Expos by myself...had to get creative using crates to help me hold them up during the install. Brake lines were somewhat of a pain in the arse.

I was quoted $1000, $600, $480 and $350 to do pretty much what you did. Spindles/billies in front and leaf springs/billies in the rear.

I think that the ride is great. This was the most important thing for me in deciding to do the lift. Everything that I researched said that the 883's provide a better ride quality than the Eibachs so that is what I went with. So far, I am very happy with this decision.
