    I am going to give it fair chance when it starts, but based on the little preview clip, I wonder if they aren't straying too far into comic book geek land with that Michelle character.

    Not that isn't already there with the zombie idea, but I think a lot of the general audience appeal right now is more than just killing of zombies.

    Have you taken the time to read the comics? They are a whole lot better than the show IMO.

    This is one of my favorite shows out right now, but I hated paying such high costs for cable and only watching a few shows.

    You can cut your cable and keep only the internet since most shows on TV can be bought through Amazon or ITunes for a fraction of the monthly cost of cable. For example, (

    I used ITunes to purchase the season pass and I know it is more while the season is playing. If my memory serves correctly, I think it was around $50. Even at $50 for the season, that was 13 episodes at $50. Per episode that's about $3.85, which is $15.39 a month.

    If you're anything like me, there are not too many shows I watch on TV and the shows that I did watch were all on my DVR after they aired. Purchasing through providers like Amazon or Itunes might be cheaper for those only watching a few shows. The kicker is if you're a fan of the show you can keep watching whenever you want since the episodes are downloaded to your comp and with ITunes you get a behind the scenes look with each episode.

    Just my 2 cents.

    we have DISH, because of them dropping AMC we switched to Direct BUT the tech said our bigass oak tree was in line of sight, so we held off til the tree was gone, a few days later Direct drops like 20 channels....:eek:

    missed that boat.

    cant you see episodes of an series a few days later on some website?

    please educate me....

    You can watch them for free and without commercials here http://series-cravings.info/watch-the-walking-dead-online ....and when the season starts if you miss it on Sunday night on AMC, they usually have it up by Monday afternoon.
