White 2010 DC SB In Progress in CO

My 2010 has just under 26k miles on it and I have only done a couple minor "upgrades" up to this point. ARE topper, and chrome grill cover.

This is how it sits currently but I have the Toytec 3" lift kit with Bilstein 5100 coilovers sitting in the dinning room ready to be installed, factory roof rack should be hear today, a white OEM 2011 grill, and M/T Classic IIs in Black with what I hope is the correct backspacing on the way. These will be my first major mods with more to come. As I get the pieces and get them installed I plan to update the progress here.

What size tires are those, looks great. Did you also do the body mount chop and hammer the pinch weld for clearance?
I've got the same truck, and am doing a very similar build.
Also you should update your description on TacomaWorld because your hardly stock any more, looking tough.

 

Thanks Koi. The tires are 285/75/16s. The wheels are Level 8 Trackers. The pics show the amount of trimming that had to be done, just a bit on the wheel well. So far no noticeable rubbing.

I wanted to go with MT Classic IIs in black but they kept being back ordered and then I saw another white double cab with them and decided I like the chrome better.

I am not sure how I feel about the Derp'ed front, I love that it isn't permanent. Next up is the OEM roof rail install. From there, cat back exhaust and CAI. Not sure what combo to go with there. I don't the exhaust to be too noticeable.

Question, the steering wheel is a bit off center, should I take it back to the shop that did the alignment and have that fixed? Also will Upper and/or Lower UCAs help the soft feeling in the steering?

Probably need this moved to the build section.

 

These are the exact wheels I want to get. Probably going to pull the trigger in September. Tell me about them.... The 16x8.5.. do they stick out any from under the fender? What did you have to trim? I'm running 285/75 on stock 16s. Thanks man! Nice looking truck also!

 

They do stick out a bit. There was some trimming that had to be done, the pictures show a bit of it. I need to do some more on the driver front as it does rub sometimes with a full load or backing and turning sharp. So far I really like the wheels, great value in my opinion for the price.
