    Hey Guys,

I have an appointment next Monday morning (April 20th) to get the TSB done. It was a bit of an issue because I purchased my truck in Vermont and i'm getting the work done here in Montreal. Long story short, once I presented a copy of the TSB and mentioned that I had a case file open with Toyota, they were more than happy to schedule the corrective work;).

As you can see I have a TRD Sport, so if I understand correctly, they will swap the current 3 leaf pack for a 4 leaf assembly and install new U-bolts and they will perform an alignment. Is that it? What should I be looking for once I pick up the truck. Don't be afraid to "spell it out", as I have limited automotive knowledge!

Thanks in advance for the advice and thanks to all of those who have posted information and stories regarding this issue. I was more than prepared when it can time to "fight it out" with the dealership!!!

    I'll keep you guys posted!!

That's it. You have the TRD shocks already so they won't be replacing those and the 4 leaf swap with the correct hardware for fitment and the alignment (with print out) is the deal.

Should be pretty easy for them to do...but they HAVE messed them up in the past. check to make sure the part #'s on each side are correct (That will ensure you have 4 leaf packs set on the proper sides) and make sure you don't hear any weird sounds (squeaking or grinding are especially bad).

    Best of luck!!
