    Hello Forum,

    I currently have this set-up with, LT265/75r16 BFG A/T's:

Best pics I have to show height of truck & how the factory set-up sits in the fenderwells.

I like how these look but I also like the black steel wheels from Wheelers off-road:

I would use chrome center cap & lug nuts though. I don't like the all-black look. What has me undecided is that I like both wheels but if I decide to keep my originals I would like for them to stick out atleast 1" all the way around.

    Basically, my options:

    1) Keep my original wheels & add 1.25" spacers on all four wheels. If it wasn't because I am scared of a wheel coming off this would be my first choice. Maybe those of you that use them can convince me.

    2) Get the 16x8 black steel wheels pictured here. Anyone running these have vibration issues? Also, what back spacing do I need for them to stick out more than OE but not rub.

    So, basically my question is?

Spacer with OE wheels or black steel Wheelers off road wheels?

Also, what is the factory 16x7 wheels back space? I only find that info for OE alloys

    THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT:)

Im getting the Type B wheelers. The backspacing is 4" compared to the Type A 4.5" backspacing. I ran some pro comp rims on my last tacoma that had 3.75" BS (along with 5mm spacer to clear the calipers) and I think it stuck out a little to far so 4" should look just right.
