Ok, here's the short version of the story. Purchased new 2012 Tacoma DCSB TRD automatic in March here in Tulsa. Truck has never been off road, never loaded the bed with anything, never pulled anything. All stock suspension, no lift. The hardest thing this truck has done was a road trip to Houston. Anyways,, 3 weeks ago I noticed the rear of the bed leaning to the passenger side. Not like this before. The front of the bed is square as can be, but the back of the bed has 1- 1/4" lean to the passenger side. Gap from cab to bed is even on each side. Take it to Norton Toyota last thursday, and they give me a loaner while checking it out. They call 7hrs later and say "yep, it's messed up and we don't know what's wrong. Never seen this before. Had 3 different tech's check it out." They call me this Monday and said they turned it over to toyota cause they are puzzled. Dude calls today and says frame is bent, and is waiting for Toyota to send a frame specialist. I'm sorry, but BS. truck has 7100 miles on it. Anyone one else with a 2012 have issues??

    sorry for the long post

It's hard to see in a pic, and as I said the truck has NEVER seen a dirt road. Road trip to Houston on the interstate, and back and forth to work... A 6 mile drive

no issues and i bought the first 2012 that jim norton of tulsa had back in november. they seemed like a stand up bunch as far as a stealership goes. im gonna bet that they take care of you. they will be able to see it hasnt been abused and fix whatever needs fixing.

If the Dealer says the frame is F'd....this will be interesting. images_7adeb59edfd4395db31780f0e0a5cbb3f7684bd9.jpg

Not to mention 99% of the time Taco lean is on the drivers side.

Pretty sure the 'truck lean' doesn't include the bed being twisted...

i see... i thought thats why the solution is always to put a spacer on the front driver side, never heard anyone talk about a custom leaf pack for the driver rear to solve it.

yeah your right, cause the driver/battery/torque/gas tank... no way this is taco lean. i bought my truck from the same dealership as the OP and it's by far the best ive seen, not that thats saying much, but i think they will take care of him.

WOW, I've heard of the full truck "lean". From what I'm reading, the lean not the issue here....

    ... keep us posted.

It's not the entire truck leaning, just the rear passenger quadrant. I measured that bitch from front to back before I took it in. That was the only place where is was out of "whack." I've got plenty of gadgets from my pipeline and refinery construction background for measureing and make sure things are "good so to say." Norton has taken great care of me with my wife's 2011 4Runner. And have done a good job with this issue so far, just curious if there were more out there with this problem... That's all

I hope if the frame is bent that they just give you a new truck. Replacing a frame is a big job and once they take the truck apart and put it back together it will never be the same (IMO).
