Probably close to a Tacoma, but you would have to pay to get it shipped over here

Question, why were you trying to SAS this before you go to UTI to get your automotive degree in book knowledge?

Your shit really have that many miles on it?:(

My buddy SAS'd his pretaco for just around 3g even found a 2nd gen Elock diff for 400 at a local yard.... if you can SAS yourself it shouldn cost you more than 3g....:)

If you are all about the mud bogs then why do you need a SAS'd yota? Mudd doesn care about articulating pressure from one tire firmly to the other. Just cares about how fast you can spin them.....

How did you go from subframe, IFS, to rear crossmember? Noobs. Bushings are 50 bucks a piece for 2nd gens. Yours should be a hell of lot cheaper and if your going to UTI you should have tools and what not to do it yourself?

Freedom of doing whatever the fuck we want to this thread is controlled by the fact that you posted to a mass internet page sir. We can talk, within reason, about whatever we want towards your post or remarks.;)

Bus is cheap homefry and its inside with A/C so whats the excuse now?

Fix your truck, I can weld up your rear cross member for you, Im certified. 50 bucks an hour. You can also get all the parts and pay me to install them since I used to work on cars for 4 years. I also charge 50 an hour for auto work. Plus I can really use the money right now;)

    what he said....

good lord ADD you are all over the place.

    D4D for the win

Truck went to the north pole, did yours?

Hilux Diesel is WIN! 30+ mpg in a quad cab on 33 mudders plus gobs of torque!

cost is more then the taco since they get different coatings then we do on the frames. Then the cost of shipping. Then the cost of setting it up to pass smog and check valve for emissions. Possibly changing out lines if it is a D4D. So yeah, expensive.

I have no experience with a Drop bracket lift so i will not pretend to. I will say i have heard good and bad about them. good example = i know a guy with a fabtech lift and he takes his truck through everything including rocks and tank traps, drives PERFECT. bad example = last week i spoke to a kid selling his tacoma because he hates his fabtech lift.

NOW to the OP, My first Tacoma 4x4 i bought when i was 17 came with a Revtek spacer in the front and a 2" block in the rear. I drove the truck for 3 years until i sold it with 311,000 miles. I NEVER had a single problem with either lift. I didn't even realize it was lifted for over year because at the time i knew nothing about suspension. I used to jump it and rally the piss out of it in snow and as much mud as i could. I'm not saying a spacer or block is the BEST way to achieve a lift. I'm just saying there are two sides to every situation. My truck was bulletproof and i would have put anything towards anyone saying different!! As far as the body lift goes again i have no personal experience, there are many who highly avoid such a lift. And i know many who have always ran them who say "They don't even notice they are there." Once you hide the gap and if installed properly, (Idealy) they shouldn't affect the ride. The best way for you to achieve what you want is to write your trucks goals down along with options and pricing along with pros and cons in each circumstance. Then you may have a clearer idea of what road you wana take.

Best of luck to you and your rig.
