LED Underbody Kits?

Anybody have an LED underbody kit on their tacoma? I know RAPR does. Anyone else? I want to see them. I ordered a kit for my truck and I also want help on how to mount them.

edit: but on a 4x4 i would not! if i was to do lights it would be rock lights.

 

True. I just wanted something different and it still looks cool at least.

 

yeah. i think i saw some rock lights that wear red/blue/ and white. but maybe the guy just had 3 sets. i don’t remember. i would just worry if you went off roading. even very light off roading, that they would break from the tire throwing a rock up.

 

Maybe. Thankfully the kit wasn't too expenisive. And the guy probably had a kit like the one I ordered. A multi color kit. It has white too so rock lights kinda feature too?

 

maybe. and idk i have thought about rock lights. 1, for night wheeling. but i got to lift her first. #2 they look pretty cool.

also if i saw a car with led’s and i had a lift and rock light all around.(wheel wells and around the frame) i would turn them on and show the guy in car who is bass. lol(at least that how i see it in my mind) my tires and all lighted up vs him with hardly any ground lighted. also i want to back light my grill.

yeah. i think this winter i’m going to try and get a satoshi from homertaco, and back light it.

 

Sweet! Now back to my topic. Haha. I kinda worry because I have a westin bull bar on the front of my truck plus dual exhausts that point straight back and I hope those won't interfere with the light bars.

I'm doing it. I wonder if they make other brands that are quality then just the chinese ones?

 

We have the six pack from Off Road Only of their LiteSpots rock lights. We use them as trail lights sometimes but mostly as camp lights when moving around at night to keep from tripping over stuff when one of us slips out for a drink/snack/bathroom trip. They are nice as they shine down and don't have as an offensive glare if camping with others that are already bedded down for the night. Makes late arriving setup and other late night tasks allot easier too. Wired them up to function with a push of the aftermarket alarms key fob trunk release button and a latching relay. The Litespots come with a mounting hole and an embedded magnet which makes test fitting very easy. I know of people who have yet to even add a bolt to theirs and they wheel their trucks very hard. And with that said I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

I know, I know. Lol. If I didn't have a fetish with LEDs I wouldn't be doing this. I have an interior LED kit already. Haha

 

I'm doing LED rock lights, but you wont find me turning them on anywhere off the trails.
