    You do have the antenna hooked up though right? Do you have an swr meter? That will tell you if you are transmitting.

    Im down for this. I with out a doubt get the worst mileage in the group and 190 on a tank is getting 10mpg(i know this :eek:) so im sure we will be fine on a full tank.

    i have a cool gas can holder tho just in case :cool:

    Sounds broke to me man..i wasn't super impressed with my Midland in the long term. My dad got it working again thou. If you have a CB antenna and cable i can bring it for you to use if it doesn't work.

    Just get your antenna installed and what not as its a handheld unit and the built in antenna sucks. But it has a port for external. Then i think it'll work fine.

    Let me know ASAP as ill have to buy and adapter to fit a Coax cable.

    Hate is too strong for how I feel, frustrated would be more accurate.

    I read what you wrote on gitout and thought that maybe you had contacted them.

Of course it doesn't say when they started out or stopped for the day either. But it does look like they had plenty of time to stop for pictures :rolleyes:

    :notsure: It came with my handheld Midland that I got since it can be used with an external antenna too. But the antenna that I bought connected to the radio without the adapter. I'll take a look at it tonight and see if it says what it is.

    Yeah, as much as REALLY want to. Chances are looking slim that i can take almost a full week off. I was also hoping to get my CV axle here in time to install it, but it hasnt shown up yet. Also my pads and rotors need to be changed. These dates arent in my favor either cause my payday is right when i would be gone.

    Mike, if it doesnt work out for me, i will hold on to the steelies for as long as you like until we meet one day...

    Well keep in mind this isn't hardcore wheeling. Just dirt road over landing. You probably won't need 4wheel drive anyways. Also what's wrong with the CV? If its just a boot don't worry about it. Ppl go thousands of miles on tore boots

    I know.

    The CV boot has been torn since last fall. I would like to get it changed before it hit dirt roads for long periods of time.
    But the main reason i wouldnt be able to go is the timing. I thought i could get the work off but with my payday being end of next week it would be very hard manage it all. It sucks but i gotta do what i gotta do
