Hello. I'm getting ready here in the next couple of months to get my first Tacoma. I've always wanted one and finally have the opportunity to get one.

So here's my question to all of you more wise with a Taco than myself. If you were to buy a brand new Tacoma and could add whatever extras you wanted, what would you do? Keep in mind I'm trying to keep as much of the factory warranty as possible.

My plans are to get a black double cab TRD Off-Road with Sport style hood and colored grille surround and back bumper (Off-Road Sport?).

    Accessories offered from Toyota:
    • Bed Extender
    • Hood Protector
    • Spare Tire Lock (maybe better to get aftermarket?)
    • Wheel Locks (maybe better to get aftermarket?)
    • Sport Pedals
    • VIP-RS3200 + Security System
    • All Weather Mats
    • Door Sill Protector
    • TRD Cat-Back Exhaust System
Aftermarket items (unless dealership can take care of some):
Looking forward to your input guys. Thanks!
    Steve

I hear ya on that fo sho but I'd like to get all perks that come with the Off-Road package with just a couple of the aesthetics from the Sport. Trying to achieve the murdered out look with the all black.

Not enough thumps for you? Have you checked out the JBL Stealthbox? It seems like it may be a good solution to your dislike depending on what it be that you dislike. :)

I recieved an Email from the dealership saying they would and could install the supercharger for the low cost of $6000. Seems a bit much since I can get the thing for $3420 which in my mind tells me that the labor will be $2580. Am I thinking about that incorrectly?

I got the nerf bars and mat as part of the deal before I would sign on the dotted line.

Ok, I think I just had an epiphany. I've been wanting to get the Off-Road package with some Sport package details. Should I be looking at this like I want the Sport package with some Off-Road details?

I'll be getting a lift kit, wheels, and tires so I don't need those from the Off-Road package. Items I do want from the Off-Road Package that are not represented on the Sport are:
    • locking rear differential
    • Hill Start Assist Control
    • Downhill Assist Control
    • front tow hook
    • fog lamps
I need some opinions or some experienced input either way.
