Is it the one piece emblem? I like this one because all the letters are seperate. If I got it would paint it black and put it on my grill....

I like your grill. did you do it yourself? by having the mesh fold in and out like that it fits the cuts of the original right? so no bondo needed? how do you bend the mesh?

It's a Homeroshi. Homer Taco makes these and the quality is excellent. Yes, the mesh is bent to fit the area left by removing the center portion of the grill.

Well, I saw this emblem was on sale for $13.95 with free shipping so I went and bought one. I'm not so sure I want it on the grill now though. Possibly on the tailgate, we will see....

For anyone interested in these I placed an order for something similar here. They're $8.99 for three of them including shipping but ship from Hong Kong so it's likely shipping times won't be very speedy. Disclaimer: I don't know this seller nor am I affiliated with them in any way. I also can't vouch for them as a customer since I haven't yet received mine to comment on ship time or product accuracy so buy at your own risk. I'm just giving another option for those interested in these.

I bought one similar to those in black for $2.99 free shipping about a week and a half ago. But yeah, it's coming on a slow boat from China and estimated delivery is still about three weeks away. The one I just ordered is coming from NC and should be here by Friday. I just really like the way the letters are seperate on this one.

I have the same emblem. Thinking of making it the only emblem on my tailgate.

Is the one you got metal or plastic? I'm thinking these are plastic with a 'chrome' look to them which could explain the price difference. The other ones that are more expensive are made of real metal I believe. For what I'm using these for I don't care if they're real metal or not and these will work fine for my needs. For $9 I figured what the heck and I'm not in a huge hurry so I placed the order and I'll just forget about them until they arrive sometime in the winter. :p

Edit: The ones I linked to and ordered claim they're also metal so... there ya go!

That's where one of mine is going. I plan to remove the 'V6 SR5' on the right side of the tail gate and replace it with one of these. The 2nd one will go on the right side of the glove box where the flat part is and the last one will go on my fuse box cover under the hood. I think these will add a little to the look w/o looking too overpowering.

I honestly don't remember. I think it's plastic, but it's black so no big deal. I have the same locations mapped out for mine as well, although the wifey thinks the badge on the glove box would be too ricey. I think it would looked good myself. If you go that route post up a pic so I can see how it looks.

No, I haven't gotten around to putting it on yet. I was thinking of slightly smoking out the chrome, but still leaving it shiny, and possibly painting the red and white on the symbol.
