Please take me off the list, I lost my job on Monday and my bumper / winch plans are on hold until I can get something lined up.

I went ahead and emailed him so he can get some stuff together and get us the rates, maybe more people will get in when he gives us a concrete discount price on them.

One question - for the Talon 9.5 SR, I had also been looking at the 12.5 SR. The dimensions are exactly the same and there is only a 3lb installed weight difference in the specs. If I look at Amazon for example, there is <$50 difference between the 9.5 and 12.5. For that difference, it's difficult to justify the 9.5 over the 12.5. I've never owned a winch though. Am I missing something?

Ok the vendor just emailed me back with his price list and it was a little disappointing. It looks like the only winches that he is offering a deal on is the M8000S and XD9000. Some others are a little cheaper but most are the same or higher. I emailed him back and let him know I was able to find them cheaper on other sites and am waiting for his reply back. Please respond in here if you are interested in purchasing a different winch that is discounted or not and I will update the list accordingly. Sorry that he didn't come through on most, I am still waiting on his reply from my last email though. All of these are free shipping also. If he doesnt come through a little more I will email another site and see if I can get something going through them.

The free shipping is nice as these winches aren't light, but you can get that with Amazon Prime and there are other dealers who offer free shipping from time to time.

Yeah I am still waiting to hear back from my last email, hopefully it is with some better news. When we spoke on the phone he was thinking we would only be ordering two or three winches. We have a list much larger than that and he isnt being very competitive with prices. If he doesnt come through I will contact a few other websites or even multiple ones.

On the xrc8 I have found coupons for 280 and free shipping. I started google-ing coupons and you can find them pretty easily. I'm sure those prices don't include shipping...

Keep up the good work OP

A price of $280 is pretty good. A lot of companies are selling the Smittybilt XRC8 (steel cable) for about $300 with free or nearly free ($2.99) shipping. I bought mine (synthetic line) from Amazon, with free 3-day shipping using Amazon Prime. Arrived in two days, in perfect condition.

I'm really satisfied with the XRC8. Dragged my truck around (parking brake on) a few times just to see how well it would work. Also pulled the truck up the driveway (uphill) into the garage. No problems.
