    Hi All,

Currently Lifted 3" front and 2" rear with stock 265/70/16 and planning to go with 285/75/16 on 16x8+0 with some cuts and shaves. If I were going to stretch this to 315/75/16, how much additional lifted is needed? Has any one run this setup?

    Thanks,

With lots of trimming and still a little rub, yes 35's fit.
Here is my old 2nd gen on 3" lift and 35x12.50x17 KM2s, granted it was after cutting 2" out of the fenders as well to get rid of 90% of rubbing.

And before cutting out the fenders, rubbed a lot more.

    Icon/All Pro.....chopped for 35's
No amount of lift will clear it if you plan of stuffing them.....you have to make more room in the wheel wells!

Thank you all for the comments and inputs.
35s look really nice! If I'm going 35s, I also need to think about turbo charging this 2TR-FE. Otherwise will be slow rolling it off the line. :(

most guys who go with a 35" tire go with 4.56 gears. the gear ratio change puts you right back around stock power output to the wheels. if you are 2wd it'll cost you close to 500 for a gear install vs 5k for a supercharger. Im running 35's and you will still have to trim the fender or do a cab mount shop as well.

Just realized you are a Hilux, not sure what gears come stock with your truck. maybe 4.10's??? would be something to look into.

By all means get 35s if thats what you want but 305/70/16s look pretty bad ass too :)

I'm gonna get 295/75/16s the next time I need tires

    Hi Guys,
    I believed this is what I have 4AT (A343F);
    1st gear: 2.804
    2nd gear: 1.531
    3rd gear: 1.000
    4th gear: 0.753
    Reverse: 2.393
    Rear End Diff: 4.555:1

    Do u think I will suffer if going 285/75/16 ?? or 315/75/16 ???

    Thanks,
