Hi All, first time posting to your site. Just sold my Jeep and bought a 2013 TRD Sport. New to the world of Tacos. I've read through a million posts trying not to repeat a question you guys have answered but didn't find my specific one so sorry if I'm duplicating. First step in the mod, planning a 3" lift and bigger tires. Leaning towards 285/70/17 and keeping stock wheels for a while but heard this will rub on the spindle. So the question is wheel spacers? Pro/cons to this please, heard spacers can be problematic, if yes how so? Also understand I would probably need to trim the wheel wells. Read that an alternative is to go with 275/70/17, does that really make a difference?

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Looks good, sorry I don't have an answer for you. I'm sure you will have plenty of responses soon enough. Welcome aboard!

I had the same tires like you(285/75/16)(stock wheels) with 3" lift and it DIDN'T rub on the spindel, but it rub on the UCA(when turning).
