I say if you are not getting a s/c get suspension instead of aesthetics. Just my 2 cents. You can get a pretty nice mid travel setup for the price of a s/c

The gas debate isn't correct...there are guys on here getting just as good mileage with the S/C..it just depends on how you drive it. Lift, wheels and tires are all nice mods..but if you're going to go that route and not put them to good use why spend the money ?

I'd say go with the lift, wheels, tires, etc...

Supercharger IMO would be very nice to have after cosmetic upgrades solely because I don't see how stomping on the gas from red light to red light just for a couple seconds with a supercharger is worth the money. I'd rather have a nice looking rig that's lifted with some nice wheels and tires that not only you will notice, but other people on the road will too.

I'm saying do a super charger because everyone and their brother puts lift wheels and tires on their truck. and it just gives you a bad ride on the highway/street.

As promised, photos. I finally got to see the truck for the first time last night when I went to pick it up....Had them add (5) 265/70/17 All Terrain TA KO's to it as well and kept the stock tires and parts that came off the truck from supercharger install.

I think it's awesome - the TRD exhaust has a nice tone to it. Don't plan to romp on the gas for a awhile to ease the break in of the engine - it had 10 miles, I've put 90 on just today.

Only issues I have so far are with the Entune system - I cannot get it to connect internet with my iPhone, but it will connect music and phone. As well, when connected with the Phone function, the volume is set at max for call and ringtone and it will not let me lower the volume. Pressing the "-" on the screen sets off the tone as if it registered the input but it still will not lower the volume. It blasts your ears off when a call comes in so I have had to disconnect that feature for now. They also owe me carpet mats.

You have to havE to connect it using the USB cord to the USB port in order for the Internet to work. Yes, I realize it's dumb but that's how the system works when using an iPhone

well, if you plan to resell, get the super charger. Id imagine it would raise the value. If you plan on doing any offroading, Or if you want to be seen going down the road and ppl are like "wow thats a nice truck" then choose the lift and tires and wheels. Either way your going to lose MPGs, but for me, im keeping min til it dies. and then probably going to bring it back io life.:D

So, for me it would be a quality lift, wait on the expensive wheels and get some nice tires. Or you could go full lockers and save for the lift later. SO many options

Does anyone know of a supercharger or turbocharger kit for the 2012 2.7L?

You can change the ringtone and volume of the ring in settings - phone. I have the Entune JBL as well. My only issue with it is sound quality of music is better through Pandora on my phone via bluetooth then it is through the pandora app on Entune.

& you need the USB cord for internet to work on iPhone.

I'm in the same dilemma.. I figure get supercharged... Keep warranty valid... Then eventually, lift after warranty?

That's the route I took and my reasoning as well, factory warrantied boost. Although, I'll probably have some Icon's and black wheels come springtime. Shouldn't be an issue with the 2.5 inch lift and warranty unless lift it can be shown to be the issue that caused a failure. Since the TX's are basically 2" lifted from factory I don't see any problems and don't know how a small lift could cause a failure to a door switch, seal, supercharger, power train, etc, and if something does come up that shouldn't within my warranty period that the dealership won't budge on, I'll put it back to stock and either they fix it or I'll sell it. They sell them budget boost lifted off the showroom floor anyway. I still have all the nuts and bolts from the supercharger as well.
