Looks like an oil filter where it's supposed to be. Not sure what you're asking.

They own Security Filter and are a vendor for Jiffy Lube.

No clue on the actual manufacturer of the filter itself. I would be concerned that it's a Fram simply because of the OF241/WPH2835 part number. Interesting that they list a cross-reference on the filter itself...
    Fram
    Havoline
    Pennzoil
    Quaker State
    Valvoline

Three of those 5 are Fram-made filters... I'm not sure about Valvoline and Havoline, so I would strongly suspect that it is a Fram.

Go there, spend $88 on 20 filters, and you'll have enough genuine Toyota filters to last 100,000 miles. Take one with you and ask that they install it instead of the shop's "house brand".

Even better... change your own oil.

If this was a Toyota dealership that used that filter, I'd report them to corporate. They should be using nothing but genuine Toyota filters... but this is not the first we've seen dealerships using sub-standard products.

    Yikes....

8 posts while I was composing mine (I looked everywhere but BITOG).

That's a Champion Labs e-Core, or a clone of it. Same as Supertech, STP, and AC-Delco.
Arguably as bad as Fram. Seen more than one Chevy owner claim that the center core collapsed.

My closing comments above stand though... if that was a dealership, Toyota needs to know about it.

We are lucky Denso makes a very good OEM filter for Toyotas. The OEM filters for my Subaru are made by Fram  The Bosch filters I got are considered an "upgrade".

Bosch is actually a very good filter.

The old (pre-2008) Bosch filters were made by Champion Labs.
Mobil-1 and K&N are still made by Champion Labs (not the spark plug people).
In the mid-2000's ('04 or '05?), Bosch bought Purolator, and moved their filter production to Purolator's line. At the same time, Champion moved to the "e-Core" design for their standard filters, and discontinued the AC Delco Duraguard-Gold, which was a premium synthetic media filter.

The current Bosch filter is comparable to a Purolator Premium-Plus.
Mobil-1 and K&N are still comparable quality as before the e-Core production changes. There were some changes to the bypass valve, but the filter media and construction are still solid.
