I want to mount a Baja rack to the roof of my 09 double Cab, but I can't decide which will have the clearance I need to mount what I want onto it.

I want to add 2 of these to each side of the rack and still attach an awning to the side, I want the lights to work both when the awning is closed and open.

I am thinking the best way to get this is to mount the lights to be between the bottom of the rack and the roof. Which option would have the clearance needed the Baja rack that bolts to the roof directly or the one that needs the OEM bars?
