On the rear it is in the 35 % range might be a little lighter. I got my windows tinted to match the factory in the back just last week and its pretty close. Minus the hue of course.

My tint guy said that stock tint on the rear window (access cab in my case) was 20%....legal in WA is 35% and it looked very light so I went with 20% to match. I really like the matching look but around here (Seattle) gray days get a little dark. First vehicle I ever tinted (well, first vehicle I ever really played with) and I like the look. Attached a sunlight pic so you can see mine.

    Enjoy your truck!!

It's around 20%. That's what I put on the front windows to match and it looks good

My tint is abnormally light because I had 32 % and it was way darker than my back windows. Does tint go 20 % of 20 % ? So 4 % ?

If you added 32% to the front windows when a 77% film is already on there from the factory, you ended up with 24.6%. If the rear stock tint is 27% as others have mentioned on here, the difference would be a tad bit noticeable on a sunny day.

77x0.32=24.6 front and you had 27% back.

Can you post a picture of your truck from the side on a sunny day so we can tell how much of a difference there is?

50% added to rear stock tint = 13.5%
    75% added to rear = 20.25%
    20% added to front = 15.4%
    25% added to front = 19.25%
These are percentages I've heard thrown around at my local tint shops.

Seems like 75% added to the rear and back windows and 25% on the front two windows would be a perfect match right at 20% all the way around. I might go with that. I have an appointment later today.

The front windows of my 08 double cab are tinted with 20%. It's a very close match to factory tint as far as the % goes, but the factory windows tint color has a bit of a bronze color compared to the front window tint which is more of a charcoal (smoke) color. I never noticed the actual factory tint color until I had the front windows done.

35% up front stock in the back! Vary minor difference. Mostly just color as previously mentioned. Aftermarket is more grey.
