Finally Got New Toyo OpenCountry A/T

working at a minimum wage job and having a truck payment took me almost 8 moths to save up for them what do you think

 

looks good, u should shorten those front mud flaps though.

 

Nice. I know exactly what you mean having to save forever for tires. My tires look like drag slicks right now. Congrats on the purchase. What are your impressions of them so far?

thanks for the feedback. i really like them so far just took my truck in some hills back in quail valley and they grip so much better than my stock bfg's did. They also handle on the street very well i even almost got in a crash but was able to swerve at 75 mph and had no problems tracking straight again.

 

yea i want to shorten the mud flaps but how do i do it so it will still look clean. i was going to just take them off but they already scratch away all the paint underneath them.

 

you'll love em .i've had mine about 6 weeks & they make the stock bfg's a/t's feel like slicks.they love the rain and i can't wait for snow great on highway or around town.
got 265/70/r16 tire dealer wanted 189.00 but he matched the internet so i paid 116.75 including align ,free rotation,& road hazard ,mounting etc.he wasn't happy but that's what they advertised

 

My buddy has those tires and he loves them! I've heard no complaints from him about the tires.

i cut about 3 inches off my front ones and i think it made a big difference, i was just going to take mine off but with all the salt and nasty shit on the roads i decided to leave them on. i took the front ones off and traced the bottom curve onto a blank piece of paper, then i cut the paper and laid it on top of the mud flap 3 inches above the bottom. i then taped the piece of paper onto the flap so it wouldnt move and used a jig saw to cut along the line. when i was done i used some sandpaper to smooth it all out. it came out good and it looks like the flap was that length from the factory. sorry i didnt take any pics but i hope this makes sense to you. its kinda hard to see in the pic but my front and rear flaps are now about the same length

 

Im running 265/75/16 with load range D, and ill have some more picks up by tomorrow hopefully some hill climes or jumps. also thanks for the help on shorting the mud flaps ill do it on Sunday and put some pics of them up.
