Not at all...alot of folks these days just dont have any respect for others.
Its bad because they end up costing you money (ie) planting shrubs, fences etc.
Then ya got crooks that end up forcing folks to spend uber amounts on security systems, locks etc.
    We cant get no respect!
Hopefully, yall will work it out.

lol. I'M already creeped out that the guy that lives on the other side of the ones I have problems with, who is 23, is out playing with kids who are maybe 9 or 10, and 12 or 13? They aren't related, and I don't know, that just creeps me out.

So my coworkers told me today that I am "a cranky old man". "It's just a lawn" was their response.

Apparently they don't listen, because it's not the fact that they just come onto the lawn. I have said before, I don't have a problem with them coming onto the lawn once in a while to get a foul ball, or overthrown pass. It's gonna happen.
I had a problem with them playing football and tackling on my side yard and tearing up the yard. Also, I have a problem when the balls hit my house, especially when its loud enough for me to hear over the tv. I also have a huge problem with the guy jumping over my privacy fence to retrieve the ball when it ends up in my backyard. That's my biggest issue. My fence in the back yard is there because the wife and I wanted some privacy when we are back there, so someone we don't even know jumping over it without asking, or knowing us, is a huge invasion of privacy IMO.

What would they have done if there were bushes between our yards the whole time they lived there. They are just not used to someone not wanting them using the yard for their football games.

I don't know. Maybe I am blowing this all out of proportion? Maybe I am the grumpy old man. But even if I am, it still doesn't negate the fact that they obviously don't have respect for our property, even though we have tried to be civil about it for a long time now.

when your co workers cover the cost to buy that lawn...maintain that lawn...insure that lawn...and pay property taxes on that lawn...

they can have a qualified opinion.

    until then...

    they can STFU.

Oh, that's brilliant, Larry. He talked to his coworkers about it (only possible way they could have known), but, according to you, they should STFU if they have an opinion different than his. You're obviously a real charmer to have a conversation with. :D

Gotta be a way to rig up some motion sensors that set off the sprinklers. They will grow tired of getting soaked to retrieve/play ball, so they might start to learn not to trip the sprinklers.

Are you kidding? There are guys on here openly urging the OP to harm those young children and/or their parents and you think I'm the problem? Only a handful of my comments in this forum are confrontational in any way. For example, when have you ever read STFU in any of my messages, anywhere on this forum, to anyone? Feel free to look, because I've never said it. So, the real question is why you're doing the very things you say ("out to get someone, prove someone wrong, argue, be a badass," etc) towards me? I don't have time for this, so my part in this "discussion" with you ends here.
