Figured I'd post up my Sunday afternoon DIY/Retro...

Got tired of looking at those ugly cutout blanks that ARB puts in the fog light holes in the 05+ Deluxe Bull Bar. Decided to do something about it.

Wasn't overly enthusiastic about spending $80+ for the IPF fogs that ARB recommends. Took a ride to my local, (well, the only) Wal Mart. Found a set of "Platinum Burners" 4 inch fog/driving lights for $25. Since the cutouts are metric, sized for 100 MM lights - these will work.

Spent a little time scratching my head; trying to get the whole round peg/square peg/round hole thing figured out.

Ended up trimming the center of the ARB blank covers to the outside diameter of the lights, in order to provide a smoother transition. Without it, there was too much space around the light for my taste.

Didn't have time to wire them up today, going to order a rocker switch from OTRATTW. Not a fan of the supplied wiring harness, contemplating going HID/LED.

There you have it - fogs for your ARB at about 1/4 the price.

Just stumbled upon your post. Thanks! I am needing an alternative as I don't want to buy an expensive set of fogs for my newly purchased ARB
