Im looking into putting a chip into my tacoma but dont really know much about them. The only one that looks promising is the Venom 400? Any feedback on this chip or if not can y'all recommend any others?

The general consensus on the forum, is that they do nothing. Search results. Lots of reading material for you to go over.

How much money do you want to spend on the tuning? The URD MAF Calibrater is a proven device time and time again. www.urdusa.com

A friend of mine is about to test out the Megasquirt 3 on his, which is about ~$800. Google it.

The UCON advanced tuning solution, from URD.

There is the AEM unit for the '05-'08 year models. http://www.dezod.com/cat-engine-management4.cfm. Currently in the works for the '09+. Wire in on those year models.

    ProEFI standalones. Pro48 and Pro128. www.ProEFI.com

Don't waste your money on the Venom.

I can't feel too bad... the OP could have saved a post if a search was done first.
