I am installing fog lights on a 2006 SR5. I have an aftermarket light kit with harness, switch etc.

I am going to use the aftermarket switch. I need to find out the funcion of each wire (4 wires) that are roughed-in under the dash, as my truck was pre-wired.

Does anyone know? or have a link to a wiring diagram?

    there is:

    Green - ground?
    Green with White Stripe -
    Red - power in?
    White with Black Stripe -

white with black stripe is ground.

according to my diagram a blue wire goes in for power to the switch.

Green goes to the relay from the fog fuse

red with black strip goes to relay from headlight circuit

light green goes out from relay to the lights.

According to my diagram as well, there is a 6 pin connector, J4, on the ground side, (white with black stripe). I see no green with white stripe in my diagram. I would pay no attention to any of the other wires. From what I read, Blue comes from the engine compartment to the switch, out of the switch as a white with black striped wire, into connector J4 pin A, out at pin B and to ground point "IC" located at "Instrument Panel Brace RH"

    Clear as mud?

Too many to list. See build page. Link in signature
Umm... on mine green and green/white is for the dash illumination. Its for the led in your switch to turn on at night. One is + the other is - but I forget which it which. The other 2 control the switch in/output. Also not sure which is which. But I am positive about this answer. Its a start

After reading these diagrams a few times, I'm starting to realize a pattern. The low sides always have the line on the wire.
