Hopefully some people will start to post things for the 2012. I've been frustrated as I can't even get aftermarket black headlights for it. Just to scared to do the BLHM myself. Something about breaking the headlights open scares me.

One Thing you might try if you scared to do this to you expensive lights is to Get asimilar headlight and practice taking one apart and then you should Bconfident when you do it for real

I will get some pics soon.. But if you look at the front valance, plasti-dip will make it match the grill, instead of looking grayish

I really do want to do the BHLM myself honestly but cracking open the headlights is something I don't feel like doing, especially dismantling the whole front bumper assembly.

Well that stinks haha is there a way to mod it to do it? Like I imagine it uses a relay of some sort to delay the power to the passenger side until a second input. Can you mod it to where it will just work off the first relay or input however it works.

It's noted in the rear of the owners manual.

one is, the seat belt reminder chimes can be turned off. I think the other is the keeyless beeb/peep can be turned off. no mention of a charge although I'd assume the dealer would charge you to hook up to his computer.

also noted: the dealer will provide for free...a seat belt extender, in case you eat to many Bic Mac's.

You're not talking about Centralia, PA, are you? I used to go up there a good bit. Scratched the hell out of my '05 Taco on branches and brush though. Still fun.

I noticed that the Entune JBL system does not lower the radio volume when giving voice navigation commands. This is the only nav system I have ever driven that doesn't. It just speaks over the radio at full volume. Any fix for that?

Also, on my touchscreen display, under the display settings, the contrast button works backwords. Hitting the "-" button increases contrast, and the "+" button decreases. Yet the brightness button works correctly. "+" is brighter, "-" is dimmer. Anyone else have this issue?

That's a great idea. Thank you for the tip.

I seen a pic the other day that intrigued me. It was the healight stalk from 2013 Tacoma that had the DTRL ON / OFF option on it.

I WANT THIS ON MY 2012! CAN IT BE DONE? I want to have the option to have those on when I want em, and only when I want em.

HAHAHAHA! I eat too much TacoBell, but I'm actually losing weight instead of gaining it, don't know how to explain that one. I know its not from running or exercise... Time to dig out the manual and brush off the dust haha.

I just find the political correctness of the free seat belt extender humorous.

Mine totally mutes out the radio volume, then again I am playing from USB all the time. Also I noticed the entune with JBL setup also lowers the volume when you are off the freeway then raises back up to higher volume once you get up to a higher speed, conveniently there is no setting to change speed dependent volume or dynamic volume. Anyone else notice that?
