Proof Of Frame Flex/Steel Plate Bumper/Rubbing Questions

    First photo is my truck in the classic pose and the following two fender flare shots are showing what my wings look like. You'll notice a difference in gap and that is (I'm assuming) due to frame flex. The following two photos are how it normally sits. It normally pushes just a tiny little bit on the flares but not too much. Any real concern I should have with the fender flare issue? Anyone else ever notice frame flex like this?

    It's as far down as it'll go.

    Edit* well if it operates like a pivot there are the stock aluminum crush locations where it mounts then the one location at the bottom of the frame rails. I could add shims at the bottom of the frame rails and that'll pivot the wings down (maybe) but then when I tighten the 3 bolts on the crush locations the may bend to accept the adjustment? That's all I can think of.

    You may end up breaking a clip or two on the flair from that. Mine did anyways. Then I adjusted it after, go figure.

    I mounted it flush to the stock bumper mounts then adjusted my plates on the bumper to sit even on the bar where the stock tow hook are mounted. If I adjust that first then tighten down the stock bumper mount nuts to 30 ft.lbs. or whatever then wont it bend the mounting location on the truck frame? That was my concern.

    PM just sent. Thats how i adjusted my bumper tho. Never noticed anything that was tweaked or bent tho.
