Miguel, you need to turn off your traction control. That is the reason you had no wheel speed and will also make your wheel hop worse because your brakes will be getting applied.

Rob's rig hasn't caught fire yet :notsure:

And I'm pretty sure I've got more aftermarket wiring under my hood than stock at this point :D

What's the worst that could happen?

I had it off. I did it with the button on and off and still couldn't go anywhere lol. I would floor it with the traction control off and still could only go 5 mph lol. Its so weird

I've got a cigarette lighter one you can borrow if you need one for a trip. It's slow but gets the job done. I've always got it under one of my rear seats. It's a cheapy $30 Autozone special.

    :cough: air down :cough:

I agree . That's not axle wrap that's no traction . If you have axle wrap you will know on the road . Take off and stops . But I have know idea about all the traction control stuff on these trucks . I have open diff or locked diff that's it .

Check your owner's manual but I think if you press and hold it, it turns off and lets you do what you want. I could be wrong, I don't have it, I just thought I remembered reading it.

Ummm I have no idea lol. When I press the button, it says auto LSD on the dash and has a picture of the traction control and its off but if I try and spin tires, I get that noise of my traction beinf engaged And it stops it lol.

This is why I like my truck, nice and simple. Manual transmission, real LSD, no TRAC, no HAC, no DAC, no VSC, no SST...

If for some odd reason I get rid of my truck, I'll be getting the 2.7 engine Tacoma and lift it.

Mike is right (again). Just pushing the button is only turning your LSD on, you have to hold the button in and then your traction control is turned off. Once it is off you can spin all you want and no beeping or anything.
All you guys sound jealous of our electronic toys!!!

    Why?!?!

Nope, I like not having to plan out my wheel spin... I just take aim, mash the skinny pedal and the truck responds. No buttons to press, no alarms going off, no brakes trying to take control of the truck, just the sweet sound of the engine revving and the stench of rubber burning :D
