Hey everyone, just joined up for the forum and looking to see if I can fit 20 inch toyota rims on my 1997 Tacoma 4X4. Current have the stock 15 in on her. Thanks for looking. The rims and tires are coming off a 2013 4runner limited. Think they will rub? Trying to find out before I buy them.:confused:Put them on yesterday..they fit perfect!! Rides Awsome and handles great! All you skeptics...15's had to go! 20's are in.[IMG]

You'll be running extreme low pro's on your truck, turning it into a street queen.

If that is where you wanna take your truck, its your truck. :)

I think he will be alright with 20s. Anything bigger than that is silly.

Use the tire fitting tool in the tire threads, and compare the sizes of the tires, the wheels, back spacing etc. You'll get your answer there. Since we can't see the truck and the new set of rubbers, we can't really make that decision for you.

20s on a 1st gen would not look good imo. The body is just too small.

Hey man new to the forum (first post) i have a 97 single cab with 20s i have cooper zeon ltz tires size 275 45 20 and i think it looks descent. it can still get traction in the snow and doesnt look like a pavement princess... too much. the ride quality isnt very good though. can any of you guys help? i have 230k miles on the body and dont know if the shocks have ever been replaced. would this be a good idea to help make it less bumpy? any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Keep in mind it's going to depend on what TIRE size you choose to go with the 20" wheels. Will you be taking the stock tires off the Runner also?
