Here in Houston, if it ain't bolted down it WILL be stolen.
So, I installed a TOY LOK in my bed to keep honest people honest.

I originally go the heavy duty 18' cable version. But, it was way too big and could not find a spot to mount it. It had a 3/8" cable and a metal housing.
I now have the 15' version with a plastic housing. It has a 5/16" cable.

To mount, I lined it up where I wanted it. Drilled a couple holes in the bed side wall. Ran the supplied bolts through the TOY LOK and through the bed.
Tightened everything up. Good to go.

The cable is retractable and pulls out to 15'. I can loop it around my stuff in the bed.

Sweet man! I hadn't seen this product before. I might have to pick this up to add extra security to my mountain bike. Doesn't look heavy duty enough for someone with cutters but enough to deter the common asshole.
