    Yeah crazy...get some cops over here that always look out for "modified" cars and trucks to harass...Switched my HID's out for LED's for now.

    A/T fog lights,rear sway bar
    I tried a hot post to the relay since it would do the same thing w/o the ign on but I may have fried a fuse as my DRL's aren't working now but I do have full use of all the lights when rotated running or lights.

    I did this exact thing, my headlights came on when I advanced my key to the on position even though the headlight rrocker switch was in the off position. Then when I turned the headlights on nothing changed and then when I tried to turn my high beams on a buzzing sound came from the engine compartment and no lights turned on... Sketchy :confused: :pout:

    I just did the OP's mod on my '13 and ran from the small box with the fog relay to the big box with the green wire and used a Posi-tap connector at the green wire. I drilled a hole into each box and ran the wire through some 3/16" sheathed conduit.

    Thanks to all the tech pioneers of this subject for doing the research.

    Tom, can you post a pic of the green wire you tapped in the big box, i think its at the big plug, but i just want to make sure.

    those of us without seat heat pre-wire, i think this is the best option.
    (there was post from a guy using the tail/towing spot who reported brake problems when he had the trailer hooked up)
