Howdy all, been lurking around for the past few months anonymously and decided its time to engage a bit more. Have wanted a Tacoma for the past 5 years and finally saved up the money to make a buy. Have had her for the past 6 months or so now and am ready to do more work. Live in Bellingham, WA, drive 120 miles a day to work and back (all truck costs comped:D), and travel to the East (desert) side of the state often, so have been able to drive off road a bit both on dirt logging trails and desert sand trails. Looking forward to copying and spending my money on all your ideas!

Thanks everyone! 'preciate the warm welcomes:cool:

Gives me lots of time to surf the web ;) But really, I-5 between Everett and Bellingham isn't that bad, especially during the morning. What part of Everett you in? I'm originally from the Northeast side, and work by the highway 2 trestle exchange.

yeah, there really isn't much between everett and bellingham that could cause traffic. i'm in the silver lake area of everett off exit 189.

Good ol' Everett Mall exit. Cool to hear there's someone else from Everett on here. Guessing there are quite a few Navy somewhere around here as well.

So, for the first "major" (for me) change that I'd like to do, I'm looking to black out my pickup. I plan on starting with the wheels, then moving to the front/back end chrome, then the door handles, then finish with the badges. Found a Rustoleum video (below) that shows a pretty good example, but will do more research just to be sure that is the method I'm going with. Have found some pretty awesome looking pickups around here that are blacked out, though haven't found any dark green similar to mine (please do share if you know of any examples).
