I'd like a little more light for when I backup. Any ideas, perhaps changing bulbs or adding lights under the rear bumper.

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
L.E.D or the 886. about the only 2 things you can do. or add more lights.

Do your LEDs throw more light than the 886 mod? Sorry if I'm skeptical. :) I'm sure they are brighter than stock. Stock is like backing up by candle light.

they are very bright. not sure compared to 886 mod? only thing is they throw the light farther back, not immediately on the ground behind the bumper like stock do. but i def see better with these and its a bright white light.

886 throws the light way back too. It would be nice to see the two side by side. Thanks for the link. I may try some of the other conversion lamps that he has.

12v - 50w halogens from home depot with the two wires and you have to solder them to make them a bit thicker and they fit right in the oem sockets - works great

This is what i did. I've had those l.e.d reverse lights in the tail lights and I they were worse than my stock ones. I'm really impressed with the light out put of the led lights on my hitch. It's nice they are hidden and can't really see them unless u bend over to look for them. IMO this is the best way to go

Ask Chris for the really bright ones, they cost more but he can get them, I'm running his regular LEDs and I like them a lot for reverse lights, but he can get even brighter if your willing to pay for it.

This is the 886 and the 800 projector from csjumper. They are both really bright. csjumper gives great service. I like the LED better. LED left and 886 right. LED does have a small dark spot in the camera about 2' from the bumper, but I havent had any issues with it.
