These are 17x9 w/ 4.5 back space and 285/70/17 BFG KM2's with a 3" King RR Coilovers and I had to do a cab mount chop and quite a bit of trimming, and still need to do some more if I want to do some real wheelin. All I got left to do is add .5" top spacers to finish off the front and get my fake beads powder coated black (and realign). Had no problems in the rear, I've got 3" all pro leaf pack.

The 305/70/16's are 7% wider and taller then the 285/70/17's, your gonna have to do quite a bit of trimming if you want to back up while
turning or go over any bumps bigger than 2"

So the classic M/Ts with 4" backspacing will clear on '12s also right? The non-lockers are the wheels I've been eyein up for a bit. Some sexy trucks in here.

Looking to put a set of the 16 x 8 classic locks on a 2nd gen. Tire size will be 285/75/16. Anyone have any issues rubbing the stock UCA? Currently have 245/75/16 on with stock OR wheels and I dont think a 285/75/16 will clear the UCA so thinking I need a wheel with a lower backspace than stock to push them out a bit. Do not want to go the spacer route.

    Thanks

Any problem with caliper rubbing with the 17x9's?
How do the bead lock ring bolts hold up to getting rubbed against a rock?

Not sure how they hold up to rocks. i've been pretty careful with that but if you take a look at the earlier post i made in this thread i have a pic of the clearance of the caliper on a 17 x 9 rim.
