Half of this country is obviously not fond of our president and it is not uncommon of them to scrutinize, criticize and whatever else derogatory term. But all of that hate does not compare on same plane of existence with words like assassination. Secret service paid attention to her post because it triggered a keyword flag that includes president and assassination in the same post. Most normal people would say something like "I hope he gets impeached". Assassination is no easy word to pronounce, let alone write so she probably put some thought into what she wrote.

I hope that her future as a human being will be forever tarnished because no self respecting employer should hire an individual who cracks jokes about assassinating a president let alone boast about how there is nothing wrong with what she wrote.

At every level of common sense what she wrote down was deplorable, appalling, certainly stretching her freedom of speech faaaaaaar beyond any point of tolerance.

If she gets out of it without being jailed she can consider herself a lucky woman.

Did you guys ever read "Johnny Got his Gun"? It's even better if you can find the version that has no punctuation. And if you do, get it for me, it's rare. I've been looking for that version in good shape for years.

    .
A Florida electrical worker who came to New York to help after Hurricane Sandy was beaten to a pulp in the neighborhood where he was trying to restore power.

John Applewhite, a 34-year-old lineman for Lakeland Electric, was attacked as he got out of his utility truck outside a restaurant in East Hempstead, N.Y. on Friday, police said.

Applewhite had just finished working a 13-hour shift and was getting dinner with coworkers when another man got out of a black BMW and approached him, he said.

“He met me halfway between my truck and his vehicle and just as I got within arm’s reach, he decked me,” Applewhite told WTSP in Tampa.

Applewhite was flown back to Florida Saturday with a black eye, broken jaw and several fractures. He’s confined to a hospital bed and awaiting surgery.

“They’re going to put a plate in my face and wire my jaw,” he said from Lakeland Regional Medical Center. “At least three surgeons will do work on me.”

Applewhite, who was in New York with 24 coworkers, says he has no idea why he was targeted, and that his attacker fled the scene.

“I didn’t know what his intentions were,” Applewhite told WFTV. “I didn’t know if I was going to be robbed or if he was just upset. He was in a nice car, so I kind of let my guard down. It’s unfortunate, it really is.”

Applewhite’s family is furious his act of generosity was met with cruelty.

“I was devastated when I got the call,” sister Mary Anne said. “John is such a sweet person and he certainly didn’t deserve this.”

Police are reviewing surveillance video and searching for Applewhite’s attacker.

Opps... sorry for the repost ... I am a slow typist ... :D

The two I have (one I bought, one was a gift) both have punctuation.

Only periods? Because it was written without other punctuation.

The one that I read as a school girl (classroom issued the books) had no capital letters, no periods, no punctuation what so ever. Only spaces. It was hard to read at first but you get used to it after a while.

The reason behind it was, because the mind doesn't have punctuation.

Now I wonder if the issues were reject issues that the school got for free. The teacher told us the reason that it didn't have punctuation was because of the mind thing.
