Lodi781 Finally got the lift on!!!

The stuff came the day before we got hit by sandy and i've been just drooling looking at the stuff...so today was the day.....

So here's a few more from today. She seems to be keeping her height, but I obviously didn't use enough grease because she squeaks something fierce...

OME w\ 885x's and the Dakar leaf pack....

 

No spacers. I had them put the struts together. Just the little trim piece on the driver side strut to keep things level...

 

looks real good! can't wait to join in the "lifted" club... my lift is en route. all these great looking trucks are making me impatient!

 

Nice i have that setup in my garage. You wont be the only one in CT with that setup soon. Did you do the install or have a shop do it?

 

My buddy and I did it....the hard part is getting the bolts for the UCA's out. They put them in before they put the fenders on, so you have bend some metal to get them out and back in, then bend it back.

 

oh ya...I had driven it maybe 15 miles to get the new tires put on then back home....it does look high in front. I have a real small amount of rake, but not much.

Good luck with your truck....do you even want the old one back?

I know that feeling, Before this truck I had a tsx that I crashed. They wouldn't total it but I wanted them to. I ended up trading it in for the tacoma.

 

Its amazing what a small lift and good tires does for a tacoma.

 

Ya right, it looks so different now, but it was 3 inches and one tire size up that did it.
