I just bought a 2013 Tacoma. I wanted to get the tonneau over offered at the dealership, but they want 1400 for it.

I really like the hard tri-fold (vs vinyl). Is there an aftermarket replacement that will fit just like the factory one?

    Thanks,
    Jose

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
I spent about nine bills on mine. You can see it in my photo gallery. If you are coming to Western NY I'll sell it to you for a screaming deal.

Check out Diamond back covers.. they are very nice..

The aluminum tri-fold cover Toyota sells is a ..... Oh damn.. I am drawing a blank at the moment..

It is one of the manufacturers.

EDIT: how about a Extang solid fold.

Welcome. I have a Bakflip Fibermax and like it because it secures my cargo in the bed and it's easy to fold up when I want to haul large items, but I'm a little bit disappointed because it leaks every time it rains. It doesn't leak very much but it drives me crazy because it leaks at all. It's a decent product for the money but I'm sure there are better tonneaus out there. Good luck.

G4 Elite and Extang Solid Fold are only two that I know of that are actually secure when you get a pop & lock. The others take a hangar and seconds to get into. Got my Solid Fold from Truck Alterations on this website. Mention you are TW member and you get a great discount. Tell him and he'll add additional sealer for free.
