Was just wondering if an aftermarket air filter (regular K&N 63 series) for a 2011 V-6 would fit one for a 2012 without any problems?

I imagine it is the same exact thing under the hood because I figured the only changes from 2011 to 2012 were just cosmetic.

    Thanks everyone.

I have heard that the 2011 will fit a 2012, but given I just found out that the TRD exhaust had been modified, I am curious if it will also fit the 2013.

That is what I thought too, interesting on the exhaust thing though. What do you think of the TRD exhaust compared to others? Why would someone choose that one over others is what I mean.

    Thanks for the reply.

Funny story. The 2011 was a different engine compartment config than the 12-13, but will fit, but not properly. My brother and I had to squeeze it in, and even then, most of it was kinda just "there" and didn't line up too well... It doesn't throw codes, but I'm not keeping it that way for long. I caved and bought the right one. At least now i have a second filter for when i clean and oil my other one...
