For the power out. I haven't pulled it apart since i put the new motor on, but when i went to spool it out, it just started grinding, and did nothing. It will free spool out, and wind back in just fine, just no power out.

Been meaning to do something about that. Thanks for the link. :)

Lets see your All Pro survive that. Wait...I've seen them completely deconstruct themselves on a 90lb deer at 55mph.

Good luck with your D-Ring. The D stands for Douche...

Warn here. I've still got the 8274 I ran on my FJ-40s sitting in storage- talk about a workhorse. I had a HS9500 on my last Tacoma and the current Tacoma sports a XD9000. Winches are one of those things you don't think about until you need it and when you need it, sometimes you really need it. I tend to travel alone so I want as many options as I can get.

I wish I could have shoehorned an 8274 in mine. :(

    Odds and Ends
I run a Warn 9.5XP with Master pull Syn line. Excellent winch, super fast line speed. Pricey but you get what you pay for. I KNOW when the time comes that I have to rely on it, it will work. Only downfall I see is that it likes juice, definately a dual battery setup in the future. I can imagine that if somehow the engine was not running that a single battery might not survive a lengthy pull under load.

Yeah-I've got an older 9.5xp w/ synth line but I haven't been able to put my finger on a place to buy one yet...But I'm looking again now that I've got that part number...

Think of how hard that hit. And all it did was mush the hood and fender a bit.

    That's damn good.

4300+lbs mid air all on the one wing.

Find me a bolt on mass produced bumper for the Taco that can do better for under $1000.
