In CO its not classified under motor vehicle, vehicle, or off road vehicle.

But the law says that you cannot ride a snowmobile while impaired, but the charge is a misdemeanor and a fine between 200-1000 bucks or county jail time not to exceed a year.

It's just in a different section then the DUI laws for vehicles and motor vehicles.

Around here I'd guess that'd qualify as involuntary manslaughter

    Either manslaughter: Mental state reckless.

    Or

Criminally negligent homicide: Mental state criminal negligence.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I am not a officer, but you did the right thing OP. Drunk drivers are a big chunk of the fatalities, or causes of fatalities on roadways each year. The Montana Troopers here are really good at responding to these types of calls. I've never had to call in a drunk driver, but have called in idiots that have run me to the shoulder or the ditch passing in my lane and the MHP took care of them. Not trying to stereotype or anything, but some moron from Texas in a big Cummins with a 5th wheel horse trailer passed a truck plain as day in oncoming traffic! Ran me and about 6 other cars off the road, I called it in. Frustrated, I drove up the road a ways, then decided to turn around and go see if he got nailed, sure enough, about 10 miles from where he ran me off the road, 2 Troopers had him pulled over and had him out of the truck. Assumed he was arrested shortly after.

Just like to say, driving tired is still driving impaired. If you're unfit to drive, you're unfit.

Good for you for calling. Hopefully they got the fucker.
