Why can't people pay attention? My taco got hit...

Last night after coming home from work I was doing a legal u turn in the highway and a guy from a side street on his phone not looking hit me. I know it could have been a lot worse but I just dealing with this crap. The thing that hurts the most is my perfected retrofit. I have so much some in them. The pass side looks like both bottom mounting tabs are broke off.







If anyone has some parts that I can use please let me know. Thinking about doing it myself.

Sorry that happened. Unfortunately people don't pay attention to anything anymore.

 

I kinda feel your pain. It wasnt my taco but yesterday my wifes 2012 civic got backed into while she was driving.
Im glad you or tge other guy didnt get hurt though.

It's a sign of the times. Nobody give two sh*ts about anybody else. All they care about is their cellphone and their government check courtesy of the taxpayers.

 

Driving used to be an important skill. AND it was fun, it meant freedom, etc.

Now it it looked as as just a bother. Something you have to do while you are getting somewhere.

 

Completely unnecessary to throw that little jab at the end. No bearing on the discussion and not even factual. Not to mention the fact politics is a no-no on TW.

Suppose to pick up report from police dept. and then contact his insurance and go from there. They better not try to screw me on my headlight...

 

Try to get all the receipts together fir the parts...Hopefully that'll give you some leverage w/ the other guys insurance.

 

If you need it I have a spare set of lights that I can send to you just cover shipping they are even still pulled apart from my retro let me knower fact for parts

 

Lucky you don't live in a state that has more no-fault accident laws. I won't specify where I was living at the time, but when I lived there a few years back we had a very similar accident happen to us. The state law was that when making a u-turn on the highway, and connecting with a vehicle that is entering the highway from the side you are entering, it is considered a no-fault accident, and neither party is held responsible.

 

Because they are on the phone.

 

Just got everything back together. Decided on a satoshi while I was at it.
